CounterCraft Joinery Limited is the continuation by Shaun Mulhall and Gerard Duffy of a well established Midlands joinery company - formerly known as Midland Building and Shopfitting Services Limited which had been trading for 18 years.

It became apparent to Shaun and Gerard through their respective businesses that there was a need for a specialist counter manufacturer in the wider commercial circle manufacturing counters and bespoke joinery for Local Education and Health Authorities.

To this end CounterCraft Joinery Limited was formed to build on the existing specialist knowledge and manufacturing ability of Midland Building retaining the original staff and recruiting additional qualified joiners.

With the addition of providing a more improved design service to customer requirements complying with the latest Disability Discrimination Act.

The company has in place an apprenticeship policy ensuring that skills and good work practice are passed on to the next generation. Since taking over the existing premises and workforce Shaun and Gerard have continually invested in new machinery and equipment to enable CounterCraft to be at the front line of joinery manufacturing.
